Hello everyone,
Baseball practice started yesterday. When I was first diagnosed I figured I was done with coaching and playing, but with all your prayers and God on the mound, I am back in the game. It felt great to be around the players and coaches. I want to thank all the coaching staff and parents who filled in for me while I was out, opening the building and running the baseball clinics.
I want to also thank my wife Joslyn. She was the first person to tell me that I would be coaching this season when I told her I would have to give it up. She never had a doubt that I would be ready. She is an incredible lady. I have been blessed in several ways but Joslyn has been my biggest blessing. Joslyn and God keep me going.
Swing for the fences.

P.S. My hair is starting to thin out where the radiation is being administered on the back and left side of my head. Feel free to look.

Jason- my son would be embarrassed if I told you who he was, so I won't but I wanted to share this story- when he was in 4th grade in Mr. Thomkos class, Mr Thomko asked if anyone knew someone who had cancer. My sons grandfather was currently getting radiation on his head too- and his hair was falling out. So my son raised his hand and said he knew someone. When Mr Thomko asked what kind of cancer he had, my son replied with confidence "Hair cancer!" I guess the whole class roared with laughter and my embarrassed son was - well, embarrassed.
Kids say the darndest things!!!
I am thrilled to hear you started back to practice. We were at Dave and Gayles this weekend and they gave me the blog site. I am keeping you all in my prayers. I can tell you from personal experience the pos. attitude and the prayers make all the difference, and if there's ever anything we can do to help let us know.

Jason we are so glad that you are able to coach. The kids love playing for you. About the hair thing, I wouldn't worry too much. At least you have an excuse! Most men just say they had a haircut. (Not unless a receding hair line is the newest style. Haha) I really like the m.s. tee shirts too. Very cool. Take care and we will see you on the fields. Probably in snowmobile jackets, but we will be there.

It is great to hear that you are coaching Jason. You are truly an inspiration to many. Your players are fortunate to have you as a coach. I look forward to watching the Bullock Creek/Midland High game from the sidelines with Joslyn (are you game Joslyn?) You are right, she is an incredible lady! I hear that you are pretty awesome too.

that is wonderful news!!! praise God that you're in the game!
and, i have always said that bald is beautiful!!
Saw Taylor tonite at kindergarten round up. I didn't see you guys though. I had to come in to get coats for the bus ride. She was awesome in there. Sat like a little lady and answered questions so politely. She is wise beyond her years. She will definitely make you proud.
Jason, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. You and your family's faith is amazing. Good Luck this season!!

Just letting you know Beau and Tana loved the Krenzke Crusaders t-shirts and both wore them to school today. Good luck to you and the boys in the baseball season! Except on April 8th when you play Meridian (ha ha) We'll have to remind Taylor of the correct cheers for that game.

p.s. Rod was whining about not getting his t-shirt!
Dawn, although we haven't met, I just wanted to assure that we have taught Taylor all the right cheers. Like "Let's Go Creek" and "Go Big Black" just to name a few. I didn't want you to worry. Hopefully, she will use them on April 8th.
P.S. Jason told me you had a great sense of humor and that I should post that. My daughter babysits for Taylor and Easton and everytime she does, she teaches her a new cheer.
Go Creek! aww what the heck! Go Mustangs too. (I guess.)
