Pathology report is back

Jason is doing well. It has been really nice being at home. We went to church yesterday morning and that was great--it's always wonderful to get filled up with God's word because it makes things much easier to deal with.

We received the permanent pathology report and (with much sadness) I have to report that Jason's cancer is Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4. This has been the original diagnosis from the beginning, however, we were really hoping that it would be a lower grade. However, please remember our God is much bigger than anything and He can take this away if that is how His glory is to be revealed.

Jason's radiation oncology appointment was not today--it is scheduled for Tuesday morning. This appointment is a consultation--radiation treatment won't start until next week or the following but we will find more out tomorrow. Jason is scheduled to get his stitches removed on Monday, Feb. 11th.

We are praying for you, along with our family, Sunday School Class and Prayer Group from Central Mennonite Church in Archbold, where we are members. Joslyn's dad is my cousin and we began praying last Tuesday, when Charlene shared your story with me. We will continue to pray, entrusting you to the loving care of our Lord and Savior who is the Great Physician. Your faith is inspirational. Donna (Roth) King, Archbold

Jason & Joslyn,
Our family has you in our thoughts & prayers & you will continue to be.
Just visited your blog tonight for the first time (very nice.)
We have been traveling with the prep for moving & now Don has relocated to KY today -- wanting to keep you close to us, so very much appreciate this.
With continued love & prayers - my favorite scripture that brings so much comfort & beautifully said is: Prov. 3:5-6.

Hey guys. Glad you are home. Our boys will make sure that your drive and sidewalk are kept clean and free of snow. Anything you may need around the yard or house, let us know by email or whatever. Coach K - Brett wants you to know that he is swinging the bat and pitching getting ready for the spring and Brittany misses you in keyboarding. She is doing well, just hope we can keep her away from the boys. Haha. She misses Easton and Taylor. So if you ever want to go for a ride or get out of the house, just holler. We pray for your recovery and send only best thoughts. The Flemings

Hey Guys! We continue to pray! Rob wanted me to be sure to tell you that any emergency repairs that need to be done around the house construction/carpentry wise, he would help as much as he can without charging for the labor. Love you all!!

Joslyn and Jason,
My heart is broken for you. I honestly wish you did not have to go through this. You are such a GREAT couple, and I have always admired the way you love each other. It is so encouraging to read how you are seeking strength from God as you endure this trial. Know that you are in my prayers. Miss you!
